Employee benefits

Working hours

eta plus offers full-time working arrangements of 36 to 40 hours per week as well as the option of working part-time. The reconciliation of family and working life is an important topic to us. We will therefore always strive to adapt the working arrangements to suit the needs of new mothers and fathers. Our core hours provide flexibility and comfortable options for both early birds as well as late risers.

Profit-sharing

The performance of our colleagues is the key to success. Our employees receive a share in the profit that is paid out on an ongoing basis and at least once a year by way of a special payment.

Vacation and vacation pay

Regeneration after hard work is important. Our employees are entitled to 30 days of paid leave per year. Just in time for the warm season, the vacation bonus is paid out in June every year.

JobRAD

JobRAD is an eta plus initiative that provides employees with the option of leasing a bicycle. The bike can be used to travel to and from work but is, of course, also for private use. eta plus subsidises the leasing rate and thereby not only assists with funding, but also contributes towards health and the environment.

Employee shares

Employees can purchase shares in our parent company IST METZ GmbH through our employee shareholding company. In addition to an annual dividend, the shares also provide an attractive value enhancement.

Company pension scheme

Employees have the option of paying into the pension fund/direct insurance policy “Metallrente” or the direct insurance policy “Sparkassen-Versicherung”. We offer attractive terms for both options.

Capital-forming benefits (VWL)

After 6 months of employment, every employee receives an employer’s contribution to his/her VWL contract or company pension scheme.

Special occasions

Besides the bouquet, greeting card and warm handshake from the boss, milestone birthdays, marriage, birth of a child and, of course, anniversaries of company service also come with a little extra of a financial nature.

Christmas bonus

Every year in November, eta plus pays out a Christmas bonus to all its employees for a merry Christmas or to fulfil extra wishes.

Health promotion

The health of our employees is important to us. We provide a healthy working environment and also support you with other benefits.

Workplace design

We quite literally provide our employees with room to think and pay attention to generous office workspaces that let you work in a way that is comfortable for your back. For this purpose, we provide height-adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs. In production, you have the option of working in a seated position or standing. All rooms have air-conditioning and the room temperature can be adjusted to your liking.

Company restaurant

In our company canteen – operated by Aramark –, our employees can avail themselves of subsidised, fresh and healthy food that is available on a daily basis and at a reasonable price.

Health courses

To maintain the health of employees, our parent company IST METZ GmbH offers a range of regular fitness courses in yoga, back training and Nordic walking. eta staff is welcome to join these courses.

Company medical service

Our company doctor at the Nuertingen headquarters visits our parent company IST METZ GmbH every two weeks. The doctor also provides regular preventive health screenings that are free of charge to our employees.

Professional development

Our training courses aim to ensure that our employees can achieve their full potential.

Training at eta plus

The career advancement of our employees is second nature to us. We provide funding for seminars that keep your knowledge up to date and expand your expertise where required. In addition, we support private training courses that also make a contribution to your development at the workplace.

Company culture

A friendly work environment is very important to us. Open communication and friendly, respectful cooperation are part of our daily routine at eta. Minor disagreements do not turn into big problems – we can talk about it, and together we can find a solution.

Recreation rooms

Our kitchen bars on all floors are meeting areas for a cup of coffee or tea here and there and also provide space for having a meeting in a relaxed atmosphere. Our roof terrace is popular during the summer, for breaks or after work to enjoy a relaxed end to the working day.

Company events

A number of events at our parent company IST and at eta plus enjoy a long tradition: We’ve often had a lot of fun at dragon boat races, football tournaments, Christmas parties, department trips and family days.
